American Whitetail has led the archery world with cutting edge target technology since 1984. We began with the first commercially produced compressed loose sheet target, the SuperButt. From there we progressed to bonded laminations to produce large round targets for field competition and target archery. We also found that the bonded laminations worked so much better for broadheads that we replaced the compressed loose sheet target with the Foamlite series. Then came the CUBE series that raised the bar even higher for top end broadhead targets. New for 2005 is the King series with an entirely new way of stopping broadheads.

We at American Whitetail know that field points and broadheads are such different types of arrow point that they require different target mediums to stop them efficiently. That is why we don't approach archery targets with a "one size fits all" mentality. Both the CUBE and the King Series broadhead target are designed to minimize the damage from the cutting action of the broadheads. In addition the CUBE series is designed to be shot from all sides for maximum life with broadheads.

 For target points compression targets such as our FPS 300 target have always been popular due to their user friendliness and long life. For 3D archers and serious competition archers the new Velocicore, featured in select FITA mats and our new Crossfire as well as the Rangemat system, is the perfect blend of target life and ease of arrow removal. The Velocicore will stop more arrows at any speed longer than any other target available Period.
