I have been shooting archery, bowhunting and building archery targets for over 30 years. When I had a pro shop one question was asked above all others about archery targets. What can I shoot both my target points and broadheads into? Well regardless of the hype you have seen and read the truth is that there were no targets out there that really worked well with both. Open layer targets sliver and fall apart under broadhead use and tough solid targets are hard to pull your field points out of.

With the advent of crossbows delivering bolt speeds of 400 FPS we started working on a totally new concept in archery target material...and developed a very high density, pliable material that not only stopped those bolts with broadheads, it also worked well with target points....we developed ArrowArmour.

What is ArrowArmour? It is a high density, highly pliable material that stops the fastest bolts or arrows by absorbing the energy through a combination of friction and resistance. It soaks up the energy the way a sponge soaks up water.

By absorbing the energy of the projectile so efficiently less material thickness is required making arrow removal at very high speeds reasonable. We developed this material to build a target that would be the absolute best all purpose target ever designed.

We bond one inch thick layers of ArrowArmour between medium density foam blocks to absorb the energy of the projectile in stages. This bolts or arrows at lower speeds do not reach all layers of ArrowArmour, resulting in much longer target life, and easier arrow removal, We have found that a single one inch layer of ArrowArmour in a Hyper Target will stop a arrow traveling at 300 FPS Storing over 80 KE.

All purpose means that the target will work well with crossbow bolts, standard arrows, broadheads and target points. With arrow removal that is good, without slivering like open layer targets when shot with broadheads, with more life than any foam target when shot with field points.

The Hyper (High Performance Target) series all purpose target does all of this and more. We were so impressed with ArrowArrmor that we have also designed a line of FITA mats around this material.

You will not find a commercially produced archery target in the world that can compete with our targets made with ArrowArmour.
